  I was originally referred by a coworker when tooth broke. In the year and a half since then, I have had more problems caused than solved. First, it was a temporary crown that came off while eating lettuce, which I was told could happen(even though it never happened with the temporary crowns I had before). After I had brought my wife and son to receive care, and Dr. Strickland performed the initial exam on my wife(telling her her teeth were really pretty nice), the office manager shamelessly tried to sell her braces. I had been needing a lot of work done on my teeth so the treatment plan for me had been set up. We told them when my insurance kicked in. The office manager advised me to pay for my own dental plan and get on my wife's dental plan, even though they knew we had the same employer(which means same provider, which means it didn't work). The billing went from one number to me owing them money to them crediting me money, to me owing them again. Dr. Strickland referred me out for some root canals but a couple were done in his office, and crowns were done too. Two of the teeth that he did root canals on got infected around a year later and had to be retreated by specialists(this is some of the worst pain in my life). Also, just this last weekend, another tooth broke. This one was right below one crown he had done and I believe beside another. Coincidentally, almost every tooth that Dr. Strickland has worked on has either come back with problems or I have had issues with the tooth next to it. I still have a crown that I have been fitted for and paid them for but I am scared to return for the work because of all the issues that have occurred since I began treatment there. I'll be the first to admit that my teeth are far from perfect. They need a lot of work and that is why it was important for me to find a dentist that could handle the work. I feel as though maybe some of my issues were beyond his expertise and I wasn't told. Now I'm having to pay for retreatment. Don't get me wrong, they are a very courteous staff, outside of the office manager who I feel has an overly cheery, fake passive aggressive tone, but I would recommend seeking anything outside of cleanings and cavity fillings to be done by someone else with more experience.
